Andrew Weaver
Signed the Violence Prevention Charter and committed to the following actions to build a Canada free of violence.
wholeheartedly support the call for a national action plan for violence prevention. We all have a duty as stakeholders in society to support the safety of all citizens. I support the programs aimed at violence prevention and stand with those dedicated people who work daily on this – such as social workers, law enforcement personnel, teachers and counsellors. I believe we need to be strong advocates for violence prevention and support programs at a local, provincial and national levels. I call on my fellow MLAs and all British Columbians to please join me in signing the charter and make your commitment to a violence free Canada.
